For this term we were required to design our very own kinematic sculptures, which simply put is a sculpture with moving parts. The brief was quite vague and the only restriction was that the sculpture should teach something to someone, address a current issue or make people aware of an issue or cause. I decided that I would create a windpump with a working system to explain to people how this age old system works and why it is still one of the best system to date.
